THE ROLE

The Wholesale Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting our Head of Strategic Partnerships in implementing and developing the best possible outcomes for the Australian wholesale channel within the Spell business in alignment with Spell’s Vision and Strategy. 

In this role, you will be responsible for driving wholesale sales revenue and cultivating strong customer relationships.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting and working closely with the Head of Strategic Partnerships on the AU Wholesale sales strategy 
  • Manage end-to-end relationships with AU Wholesale partners ensuring budget and sales targets are met
  • With the Head of Strategic Partnerships, develop an effective AU strategy for the Wholesale channel that delivers the annual budget and revenue targets to drive growth and maximise return on investment.
  • Analyse historical sales data and consumer insights to inform decision-making on trends, opportunities, or potential risks with wholesale partners.
  • Develop strong ‘Go to market’ plans for seasonal ranges through influencing and collaborating with the right people internally (finance, marketing, design, operations) to increase potential for channel success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with retailers with a professional approach, ensuring Spell is always represented within brand guidelines.
  • Onboard new business in line with brand strategy and objectives.
  • Communicate relevant Spell updates and assets for collection launches to Wholesale customer base.
  • Execute production reports and hand over to the production team.
  • Create anecdotal and analytical reports as required
  • Manage end to end administrative Wholesale function

  

ABOUT YOU

You are a dynamic and results-driven sales professional with a strong track record in wholesale sales. You excel in a fast-paced and competitive environment, and your ability to forge and maintain strong customer relationships is a testament to your sales prowess. An eagerness to travel within Australia will be advantageous.

 

ESSENTIAL

  • Previous experience working within sales
  • A confident communicator with customer service experience
  • Impeccable personal presentation
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage ongoing relationships
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Flexibility to travel as and when required
  • Understanding of consumer and fashion trends/insights
  • Excellent attention to detail and administration experience
  • Personable and approachable nature with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

 

DESIRABLE

  • Experience using Joor
  • Experience using Netsuite
  • Experience with the fashion industry
